This Cinnamon honey butter recipe is one of the easiest recipes there is to make.

Not only is it super easy to make but it only uses 4 ingredients! And one other thing, it is absolutely delicious. Especially when spread over a slice of warm homemade banana bread! OH – or on a homemade yeast roll, ya know, like the ones you get at Texas Road House. YUM! YUM!

If you would like to jump straight to the recipe card scroll all the way to the end. Otherwise keep reading for a more in depth instruction with pictures included. However, it’s so easy there really isn’t much detail to it.

Take me straight to the recipe.

Let’s gather our ingredients:

This will yield about 8oz. (I fill up 2 of the small 4 oz mason jars)

All you have to do is mix all 4 of those ingredients together in a small to medium bowl. I start out with a fork then switch over to a spoon. I smoosh and stir and smoosh and stir until it is all blended together. I suppose you could use your handheld mixer but I just assume stir by hand because there’s not a whole lot to mix there.

On a side note, it is very important that your sticks of butter are at room temperature otherwise it makes mixing everything a little difficult along with becoming lumpy versus smooth. And I don’t suggest nuking it in the microwave either. The butter needs to be soft not liquified.

That’s it!

Now, wouldn’t you say this cinnamon honey butter recipe was easy peasy, lemon squeezy? I told it would be.

So once you have combined everything together, I like to store it in one of those small 4oz mason jars. But any type of air tight container will work just fine.

I will usually leave one of the jars sitting out on the counter. It keeps it soft and ready to use at a moments notice. I haven’t tested how long it will last sitting out because it doesn’t last very long in our house.

However, the USDA recommends only leaving butter out no more than a couple of days. Like I said, this butter will last us maybe 3 days max. I usually just make it when I plan on making homemade chocolate chip banana bread (both my girls absolutely LOVE that bread). And both the butter and the bread get gobbled up with the quickness.

I hope you enjoy this butter as much as we do on whatever form of bread you spread it upon.

Until next time!
