Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Tin Foil
  • Nonstick Spray

Ingredients

  • 8 pk Bun Length Hot Dogs
  • 8 ct Canned Biscuits (NOT flakey)
  • 4 slices American Sandwich Cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°
  • Line a baking sheet with tin foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  • With a knife cut a slice down the middle of each hot dog. Be sure to not cut them in complete half. Cut them just enough that you are able to spread them apart so you can add slices cheese to the center.
  • Take your slices of cheese and fold them so it creates 4 rectangular slices per packaged slice of cheese.
  • Add one to two rectangle slices to the center of each cut hot dog.
If you like lots of cheese then I recommend using at least two rectangles per hot dog. Otherwise one will do.
  • Open your can of biscuits and one by one slowly start taking it from a round biscuit to a long flat strip of not so fluffy dough. You want it long enough so it is able to wrap around (like a spiral) your hot dog from one end to the other.
  • Continue wrapping and smooshing the seams together. One biscuit to one hot dog. Once you have assembled all of your hot dogs in a blanket, place them on your baking sheet (not touching, spread them out).
  • Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are cooked all the way through and have turned a golden brown.
  • Enjoy!
